Sanatan dharma is only religion which has given equality to man and woman. Yes sakti ( godess)is required for the world as much as shiva is required. See half shiva and half sakti. Only religion where goddess are worshipped also. Women here are not created from rib of men for his sensous pleasure only as per abrahmic fate.
Sakti ( goddess )Energy is required for starting the universe. Sakti has divided herself into sarswati ( brahma wife ), lakhmi ( vishnu wife ) and parwati ( shiva wife ) and gave them necessary Sakti to proceed with the work of creation, preservation, and destruction.
We hindu don’ t worship creater i.e brahma unlike in islam or christinity where creater is worshipped.

Logical reason why brahma is not worshipped Brahma was very proud that he had created the world.
Lord Brahma just like abrahmic god is highly attached to his creation. I have created this world, I am the owner of this world, everything belongs to me, everything should work according to me- this is the attitude of Lord Brahma. And when something does not work according to your thought, you become worried, stressed and tensed.
No one wants to be controlled by anyone. Even your own offspring does not want to be an excessive control from you. Brahma tries to control everyone and everything, and hence, no one wants to be in the association with him. That is the reason of Lord Brahma being appeared stressed, worried, old and secluded.
You can create something, but its possession is not in your hand. Nature provides her shelter to everyone for a certain period of time. Showing unnecessary proprietary over it gives nothing but miseries, worries, tension, anxiety and suffering. That is what lord Brahma did after the creation of the universe and started showing his possession over it. This is the quality of Jiva of low birth, not a person of a divine quality.
Thus we don’t worship brahma who tried to control us but we worship sustainer. Just imagine of your father who is only proud of bringing you into earth and put a lot of rules and regulation on you , how will you feel.
God is one whether we are worshipping him only or not is never a corsern for our god.

Our Ramayana and Maharashtra just cover the every aspect of life and offer every teachings.
How a man should behave.
He should be like lord Rama. An ideal student, an ideal son ( leave thrown gone forest for 14 years on her step mother wish), ideal brother , ideal husband, ideal friend and ideal king. His life is a complete package. Why is Shri Rama called Maryada Purushottam..? Best person. Krishna with its Avtar come to teach us for safeguarding dharma , deveating a little from that idealism is required ,then that is not wrong.
How a woman should behave.
Like Sita, an ideal daughter, an ideal student, an ideal sister and sister in law ,an ideal wife chose to live with her husband in whatever condition he live.Yes she followed him to jungle living all royalty behind to be with him only.
Ideal brother Bharata who did not have an eyes for his brother thrown even when Rama left that for him and gone forest. He ruled the kingdom with his brother rama's footwear sitting on thrown. Ramayana gives good message that it is only your karma that determines your faith. Ravana was known as one of greatest devotee of shiva of all time. He had became quite powerful with all his boons from god but he did not use it for welfare of others . He tried to violet the self respect of a women . He was punishment for his karma. Believe in shiva and knowledge of all Vedas did not save him.
Contrary to that Mahabharata come with Message for common people do your karma without the desire of fruit.
