Shivraj Chauhan is a RSS karmaswevak since 13 years old. He is a five time member of parliament representing Vidisha in Lok Sabha till 1991. He has been chief minister of Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh since 2005 from Budhni constituency. Some of his major crimes are
a.Dumper scam: In 2007, acting on the complaint of Congress leader and lawyer Ramesh Sahu, the Bhopal Court had ordered an inquiry against the Chief Minister and his Wife Sadhna Singh in "Dumper scam". Sadhna Singh had allegedly bought four dumpers for Rs 2 crore and later leased them to a cement factory. The allegation was that Sadhna named her husband as SR Singh at the time of purchase, and also gave a false residential address. Thereafter, the Lokayukta police began to probe the case after registering a case under Section 420 of IPC and Prevention of Corruption Act against the CM and his wife on 15 November 2007. The opposition demanded his immediate resignation but he refused to step down. However, in 2011, the Lokayukta report submitted before the court in February, had observed that the investigators could not find any basis on which the Chief Minister and his wife could be charged, hence giving them a clean-chit. During a raid on two influential Bhopal-based businessmen Dilip Suryavanshi and Sudhir Sharma, the income tax department had recovered diaries which had entries claiming that the two ministers had been paid bribes. Singh claimed that complaints against the two ministers are pending before the state Lokayukta but the Chief Minister has not accorded sanction against the two yet.
b.Vyapam scam :The Vyapam scam was an entrance examination, admission & recruitment scam that was unearthed in the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh in 2013.It involved scamsters including politicians, senior and junior officials and businessmen systematically employing imposters to write papers, manipulate exam hall seating arrangements and supply forged answer sheets by bribing officials. Madhya Pradesh Professional Examination Board(MPPEB), popularly known by its Hindiacronym "Vyapam" (Vyavsayik Pariksha Mandal), is a self-financed and autonomous body incorporated by the State government responsible for conducting several entrance tests in the state. These entrance exams are held for recruitment in government jobs and admissions in educational institutes of the state. The scam involved a collusion of undeserving candidates, who bribed politicians and MPPEB officials through middlemen, to get high ranks in these entrance tests. The scam also led to between 23 and 40 'unnatural' deaths of involved individuals, though unofficial figures run well into more than a 100 custodial deaths including the erstwhile MP Governor's son and deaths in staged road accidents.Vyapam scam

He became the cabinet minister for Communication and Information Technology from May 2007, following the resignation of Dayanidhi Maran.
He was implicated in 2G scam along with two other members of the DMK, Dayanidhi Maran and Kanimozhi. The 2Gspectrum financial scandal involved the alleged corrupt sale in 2008 of telecommunications bandwidth to selected organisations at prices that understated the real market value of the asset. The sale is claimed to have occurred when Raja headed the Telecommunications and IT Ministry; it has been considered the largest political corruption case in modern Indian history, amounting to around Rs1,766.45 billion (US$25 billion) of lost income for the Government of India. It is alleged that the sale should have been put under a transparent auction system. On 15 May 2012, he was granted bail by the Supreme court under a condition that he would not visit the Department of Telecommunications nor his home state Tamil Nadu.He stayed in Tihar jail for fifteen months.he Enforcement Directorate grilled Raja on 10 July 2012, for four hours, to ascertain his role in grant of 2G licenses especially to Swan Telecom and Unitech Wireless. Scams done during his time
a.Fodder Scam -The Fodder Scam was a corruption scandal that involved the embezzlement of about Rs9.4 billion (equivalent to ₹34 billion or US$480 million in 2017) from the government treasury of the eastern Indian state of Bihar. Among those implicated in the theft and arrested were then Chief Minister of BiharLalu Prasad Yadav, as well as former Chief Minister, Jagannath Mishra. The scandal led to the end of Lalu's reign as Chief Minister. There is also allegation on Dr. Dineshwar Prasad Sharma of receiving 300 crore and 60 lakh Rupees, respectively, from S. N. Sinha. On 23 December, 2017 Lalu Prasad Yadav was convicted by a special CBI court while Jagannath Misra was acquitted. The theft spanned for many years, and allegedly involved numerous Bihar state's administrative and elected officials across multiple administrations of the Indian National Congress and the Janata Dalparties. The corruption scheme involved the fabrication of "vast herds of fictitious livestock" for which fodder, medicines and animal husbandry equipment was supposedly procured. Although the scandal broke in 1996, the theft had been in progress, and increased in size, for over two decades. Besides the magnitude and duration of the theft, the scam was and continues to be covered in Indian media due to the extensive nexus between tenured bureaucrats, elected politicians and business people that it revealed and as an example of the Mafia Rajthat has penetrated several state-run economic sectors in the country. As of May 2013, the trial was completed in 44 cases out of a total of 53 cases. More than 500 accused have been convicted and awarded punishments by various courts. Lalu Prasad Yadav found guilty in third fodder scam case
b. Railway Scam: Yadav became the railway minister in the 2004 UPA Government. When he took over, the Indian Railways was a loss-making organization. In the four years under his leadership, it showed a cumulative total profit of Rs.250 billion (US $5.2 billion). The turnaround of railways from a loss-making to a profit venture was actually more of a cosmetic exercise. According to CAG, it was the new practice of issuing a "statement of cash and investible surplus" that helped Lalu project a rosy picture. In 2008, the profits shown were Rs25,000 crore (US$3.5 billion). Schools of management became interested in Yadav's leadership in managing the turnaround (with more or less the same IAS officers and the same workforce who worked under the previous ministers). The alleged turnaround was introduced as a case study by the prestigious Indian Institute of Management. Yadav also received invitations from eight Ivy League schools for lectures, and addressed over a hundred students from HarvardWharton and others in Hindi. In 2009, Yadav's successor Mamata Banerjee and the opposition parties alleged that the so-called turnaround of the Railways during his tenure was merely a result of presenting financial statementsdifferently. In 2011, a report by the Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) endorsed this view. CAG found that the "surplus" shown on the financial statements during Yadav's tenure covered "cash and investible surplus", which were not included in the "net surplus" figures released by the Railways in the earlier years. The "cash surplus" included the money available for paying dividend, contribution to the Depreciation Reserve Fund used for renewal or replacement of existing assets, and other funds for investment. The "investible surplus" included the money allocated for capital expenditure. The report concluded that the performance of the Railways actually declined marginally during the last few years of Lalu's tenure.Lalu Prasad Yadav brings profits for Indian Railways'Lalu's railways turnaround tale was a cosmetic exercise’ .

In 2008, Yeddyurappa became the Chief Minister after leading the BJP to a victory in the Karnataka Assembly elections, a first for the BJP in a South Indian state. However, in 2014 he merged his party with the BJP and was subsequently elected to the 16th Lok Sabha from the Shimogaconstituency, which he quit after being elected to the Karnataka Legislative Assembly in May 2018.

After the high court quashed former governor HR Bhardwaj’s sanction to prosecute BS Yeddyurappa, a special Lokayukta court struck down four other FIRs against him. In a major relief to Yeddyurappa and BJP, Karnataka High Court had set aside the sanction given by then Governor HR Bhardwaj for his prosecution in several cases of alleged illegal de-notification of land, and asked the incumbent Vajubhai Vala to have a fresh look at it. Karnataka High Court quashes land case against B S Yeddyurappa.

Later, he was granted bail on 8 November 2011 after spending 23 days in jail. Yeddyurappa gets bail, will leave jail soon .However, in March 2012, the High Court of Karnatakaquashed the FIR registered against him regarding the Mining . A division bench of high court of Karnataka passed the order stating that "Suspicion cannot be a ground to tarnish the image and reputation of a person who is holding a Constitutional post. Even during the course of argument, a specific question was put to Lokayukta counsel to produce any material to connect the petitioner for alleged offences, but he was mum and did not indicate any favours shown by Yeddyurappa as the chief minister to any mining company".
