What is the basic difference between BJP and Congress parties?

While BJP is far away from being perfect, INC is a curse thrown on us due to Gandhi legacy.
Let’s have a look on credentials of people who held important portfolios in the cabinet of INC and BJP (Current).
  • Ministry of Labour and Employment & Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (Both under one highly educated guy!) → Oscar Fernandes
  • Credentials → Gandhi Loyalist (Extremely close to Rahul Gandhi ji)
These days when people are commenting on Smriti Irani as uneducated person, This guy was holding two ministries with only “Intermediate” education!
Have you ever heard any discussions around “Education” of these ministers then? No, because the only education you need is to be a staunch Gandhi loyalist to bag a portfolio of any stature!

The presidents of congress: Sonia Gandhiis the longest serving party president ever for nearly 20 years. She passed the mantle to her son Shri Rahul Gandhi .
And never forget,who was planted as President of India by INC!
Also in a country like India, where you have to set examples, she was the one who granted the most pardons!
During her tenure, Pratibha Patil, granted around 35 pardons – a record for any Indian President. Most of the convicts pardoned were guilty of major crimes such as rape and murder.

Also never forget the treatment INC meted out to beloved Kalam Sir from becoming next president. Why? Because he was not preferred in front of Pratibhai Patil. Why? Because Mrs Patil has always been a Gandhi family loyalist.
BJP’s first president candidate:A. P. J. Abdul Kalam : Kalam served as the 11th President of India, succeeding K. R. Narayanan. During his time he did not sign the Office of profit Bill which would have allowed Sonia Gandhi to uphold multiple offices including the Prime ministers office. He did not allow that thing to happen, thus she has to loose many posts including some offices which were the offices of profit.

BJP’s Second Candidate: Ram Nath Kovind
Ram Nath Kovind was a practicing lawyer of Supreme Court and High Court from 1977 to 1993. He was a member of Rajya Sabha from 1994 to 2006. He was 32nd Governor of Bihar.
President of BJP: Amit Shah
Even though with offenses like snoopgate, shobradduin encounter cases still he was able to steer BJP through victory in 2014 and in different state elections.
Now let’s have a look at current BJP ministers:
  • Human Resource Development minister NDA:Prakash Javadekar
  • Credentials: He was appointed Minister State (Independent Charge) for Environment, Forests and Climate Change by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He is also a Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs, and briefly held the portfolio of Information and Broadcasting before going for Human resource development minister from 2016.
  • Defence minister-NDA:Nirmala Sitharaman
  • Credentials: Joined BJP in 2008, BJP spokesperson but her husband has been from pro-congress family! Despite, she rose the ranks and was allowed to become second women defense minster in India. (After Indira Gandhi)
  • Think about this, is that possible in INC?
  • Aviation minister-NDA: Suresh Prabhu
  • Credentials→ Unblemished career as a politician, CA by profession, elected MP since 1996, left Shiv Sena in 2014 and joined BJP. Too less experience within inside BJP power games, despite this, he was given charges of railway ministry and then Aviation.
  • Think about this, is that possible in INC?

  • External affairs minister-NDA: Sushma Swaraj
  • Credentials: I think everyone knows her pro-proactiveness when dealing with visa affairs but the most important thing “even Arvind Kejriwal says good things about her, need I say more?”
  • Finance Minister-NDA: Arun Jaitley
  • Credentials → Supreme court lawyer for long time, was in jail for many months during emergency, unblemished career span of more than 40 years and steered India through tough decisions of demonetization and GSTs, with no major unrest. Mr Kejriwal tried to malign him for DDCA case, ended up apologizing.
  • Railway minister NDA: Piyush Goyal
  • Credentials: 2nd rank holder in CA exam and currently pursuing his Owner / President Management (OPM) Program at Harvard Business School!

  • Home affairs minister (NDA) → Rajnath Singh
  • Credentials → Long political stalwart, with practically unblemished career span of more than 40 years. He changed the educational landscape of UP (which is still one of the toughest board in the nation) when he was education minister.
Like I said in the beginning, BJP is far away from being perfect, but it is giving deserving people a chance to serve the society, rather than boot-lickers
also Mr Gadhkari is known for his simplicity.
Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore won a silvermedal in 2004 Olympics It was India's first ever individual silver at the Olympics.
Between 2002 and 2006 he won 25 International Medals at various championships for Double Trap including 3 golds in commonwealth games.
He is a graduate of 77th Course of the National Defence Academy. Rathore attended the Indian Military Academy where he was awarded the Sword of Honor for the best all-round Gentleman Cadet.
He retired from Indian Army as a colonel in 2013.
I think we shall also give some credit to him for recent success in Asian games.
I am only trying to compare normal apples with rotten ones. Those who are commenting its biased or one sided, I would request you to write in comments some details about UPA wonderful ministers, so that I can highlighted that too.
The current BJP cabinet minsters are just doing their job properly and honestly (until now, and basically this is what they are supposed to do, so its not a favor for Indians). They get paid for it and most are doing their job to the best of their capabilities.
If you have congress people who came ahead because of hard work (Pranab Mukherji, P.V.N. Rao etc. etc.) please vote them! Its just I don’t find any examples who are not boot lickers but still holding high posts or responsibility in congress. If you have some examples, please do share.

Field Marshal SHFJ Manekshaw , Pratibha Patil (then president), Manmohan Singh (Most educated PM ever) ignored contributions of this guy and didn’t even attend the funeral! why? because he was not in good books of Indira Gandhi.
